Welcome to my first Do Life Fit Blog post. I am super excited to share with you one of my favorite passions, FITNESS.
As we all know one of the biggest excuses for not exercising is TIME. Most of us are super busy, while finding time can be a challenge. The good news is there are ways to overcome that obstacle. Lets face it, TIME is the ultimate champion, nobody has ever beaten time!
In future posts, I will be giving tips on how to deal with busy schedules and finding different ways to exercise efficiently with limited time.
But today I want to start with the importance of using a CALENDAR.
After making the commitment to live a healthier lifestyle, I strongly suggest using a calendar, as it will strengthen your commitment and help you stay on track.
It is important to have a plan & know what you want to accomplish (goals). Be sure to include in your calendar work out days, rest days, measurement/result days, reward days, etc., and anything else that may be important to you.
Be sure that your calendar is visible, in a place that you can see it everyday as a reminder. A goal is only a goal when its written down & scheduled.
I would encourage sharing your calendar with close friends/family for added support and accountability. Kids are great, they sure will remind you!
As you accomplish your daily workouts, make sure to check mark when finished, it will keep you motivated.
Your personal fitness commitment to YOU is important. Exercise is a critical tool for combating today’s environment challenges like stress, health problems, energy level and so much more.
When you use your calendar and actually write down your goals and workouts, you are more likely to follow through. That’s a FACT.
